IT’S OK TO NOT BE OK...

Let’s face it, these are difficult times.

The things that are happening right now are not things that any of us have ever been through.

It’s perfectly natural to feel a massively confusing set of emotions as your mind tries to work out how it’s supposed to react right now.

The last thing you need on top of that confusing mix of emotions is a part of you feeling bad for feeling them!

Sadness and despair.

Anger and frustration.

Anxiety and fear.

All of these feelings are (to put it simply) correct.

Even as we recognise that these are emotions we’d rather not feel, and that don’t immediately solve anything... it’s ok to feel them.

Your mind is busy processing new information. Allow it the time and the space to do that.

If you beat yourself up then you will just end up beaten, and you will exhaust yourself in the process.

If you give yourself the time and space you need to process the unprecedented then you will eventually come out the other side of all of this.

Always remember... there’s nothing wrong with feeling how you currently feel.
